Summary of This Role

Responsible for selling merchant services offerings to businesses. Activities include pricing, customer segmentation, customer presentations, account sign-up and activation, and account management. Responds to inbound customer calls regarding product and service information and identifies upselling opportunities. Accepts orders, closes sales, maintains customer records, and completes required documentation.

What Part Will You Play

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, typically with an annual net revenue of $200,000 or more. Identify revenue opportunities through communication with prospective clients, marketing programs, and other activities. Contact prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify leads, and drive them through the sales pipeline. Conduct needs analysis and respond to customer inquiries with online presentations. Upsell additional products/services to existing clients to deepen relationships. Manage client relationships and expectations throughout the sales cycle.
  • Maintain accurate client records, including call notes, scheduled interactions, contact info, and relevant details in the CRM system. Keep management informed of activity through timely reports.
  • Develop knowledge of current products/services and industry developments within the payments sector.
