Your responsibilities

• Manage commercial aspects of pilot, demonstration and deployment projects
• Develop bankable business in Carbon Management (e.g. Carbon Capture Storage, Biochar, Carbon Dioxide Removals)
• Test and develop innovative execution and financing vehicles (e.g. JV / Corporate Spinoffs / Venture Clienting) for scaling/rollout and create business plans
• Identification and management of strategic cooperation partners
• Leading large cross-functional project teams
• Interface to other Uniper functions on all management levels, e.g. Sales, Trading, Engineering, Market Analytics, Strategy
• Represent innovation activities internally and externally
• Be an ambassador for innovation and change

Your profile

• Masters degree in business, finance, economics, engineering or other STEM fields
• 5+ years relevant working experience on business development in hard-to-decarbonize sectors is a must. Ideally background in carbon management (CCUS, CDR, Biochar), chemical or energy industry, sales, portfolio, trading or project development
• Analytical, business, regulatory and strategic expertise to quickly and holistically understand, evaluate and develop business ideas
• Experience in building and implementing of commercial contracts, products and services
• Leadership experience and ability to work in interdisciplinary environ- ments and complex structures
• Independent way of working and ability to organize work in functional teams across all hierarchy levels
• Ability to perform under high time pressure
• Fluency in English
