Job location: Römerberg near Speyer or Hamburg
As an engineer (m / f / d) in process engineering / pipework planning at INP Germany, you will design the technical foundations that enable the safe and efficient handling of gases such as hydrogen, nitrogen, or oxygen in modern industrial plants. You will be a crucial part of our team, from the first line on the flow diagram to the specification of the final pipe section. You will combine your passion for precise planning with technical expertise and work with our specialist departments and partners to develop solutions that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability. Whether basic or detailed engineering, you ensure that concepts become functioning systems.
Your tasks
- Independent basic and detailed engineering for the integration of plant components and piping systems.
- Design, specification, and creation of pipework classes and associated documentation.
- Development and evaluation of technical concepts, preparation of tender documents and offers.
- Creation and maintenance of flow diagrams, installation, and pipework plans.
- Technical coordination with project partners, customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
Your qualifications
- Degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the planning of plants and piping systems for technical gases.
- Practical experience in the creation of pipework classes and technical specifications.
- Confident handling of applicable norms and standards in plant and pipework construction.
- Knowledge of CAD / CAE systems (e.g., AutoCAD Plant 3D, E3D) is desirable.
- Very good German and good English skills.
