Your Responsibilities

• Lead the team in Energie Gas as a Senior Engineer, overseeing the technical management of the team responsible for technical gases.
• Operate the company-wide gas pipeline networks for oxygen, nitrogen, and argon, including associated fittings, pressure vessels, control stations, and other facilities. Also, provide maintenance services for internal pipelines of these media.
• Maintain, plan optimization and modernization measures to ensure optimal supply to the Duisburg-Nord site.
• Collaborate with internal and external service providers, commissioning repairs and new construction projects.
• Manage the relevant maintenance and investment budgets and document regulatory activities.
• Manage spare parts inventory, including reordering and updating the inventory according to the latest standards.

Your Profile

• Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Technology, or related fields with knowledge in mechanics and process engineering.
• Preferably several years of experience in maintenance and repair of pipeline networks.
• Knowledge of safe handling of technical gases is valuable for quick onboarding.
• Knowledge of pressure equipment regulations and technical rules for hazardous materials is advantageous.
• Familiarity with regulations such as the Major Accident Ordinance, Operating Safety Ordinance, and Pipeline Ordinance, as well as EIGA standards, is beneficial.
• Proficiency in IT, especially in SAP, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
