Job Description

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the production-oriented component control of shipbuilding steel structures in submarine construction, from the smallest knee plate to the finished boat.
2. As an Assembly Planning / Component Control Engineer (m/f/d), responsible for creating assembly drawings and weld tables.
3. Develop welding sequence planning for controlled components.
4. Work closely with design and manufacturing teams.
5. Develop guidelines for design, manufacturing, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in naval architecture, mechanical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent qualification.
• Previous professional experience, ideally with in-depth knowledge of steel shipbuilding.
• Proficiency in IT/CAD/CAM/CAE tools such as Avera Marine Planar Hull, Assembly Planning, Weld Planning, and SAP.
• Structured, independent, and self-responsible working style.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Teamwork, quick comprehension, and high willingness to learn.
