We can offer you the following tasks

• Define and maintain target architectures for private cloud infrastructure covering compute, virtualization, storage, and SAN networking.
• Collaborate with the Public Cloud team to design unified hybrid cloud architectures and shared infrastructure standards.
• Act as the technical counterpart for the external private cloud provider to steer implementation and ensure architectural alignment.
• Design and govern the SAN switch fabric and storage network configurations in coordination with providers and internal teams.
• Ensure infrastructure platforms meet security, compliance, and availability requirements across the entire lifecycle.
• Coordinate with internal service teams (e.g., OS & Middleware, Network, Backup) to ensure seamless platform integration.
• Provide architectural guidance in projects and assess platform changes, incidents, and capacity trends from a strategic perspective.

You can help us with these qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of virtualization, compute, and enterprise storage architecture (e.g., VMware, NASUNI, Hitachi, Veeam).
• Experience with designing and steering enterprise-grade infrastructure platforms.
• Familiarity with IT service management and collaboration with external providers (e.g., under SLA/OLA).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (technical and non-technical).
• Fluent in English (spoken/written); German language skills are a plus.
• Knowledge of IT security compliance and availability best practices in infrastructure design is advantageous.
