Team info:

You'll be part of our Public Sector Team Education, working as a technical subject matter expert for our products and surrounding components, to jointly design and deliver deployments of Open-Xchange OX App Suite and Dovecot Pro to our customers. In collaboration with your team, you'll be involved in attractive projects with state & governments in Germany and potentially across Europe.

This is the tech stack you'll be working with:

• Must-haves: Operating system: Linux; Deployment models: Kubernetes-based; Scripting languages: Bash, Python
• Nice-to-haves: Our applications support very large scale Collaboration and Security platforms; Protocols: IMAP, SMTP, MTA (Mail Transfer Agent); Tools: Ansible, Helm charts; Knowledge areas: Various flavors of Kubernetes implementations, LDAP, basic understanding of mariadb, nginx, java applications

You’ll assess constraints and requirements, discuss technical challenges and create joint solutions.

You’ll work out architecture and high-level design and further define cross-system integrations and data flows.

You’ll work with customers to deploy our products and launch new platforms.

You’ll communicate with customers and partners to manage and develop technical relationships.

You’ll act into the Open-Xchange company, managing internal processes and collaborate with the various teams, acting on behalf of the customer, with the goal of mutual success.

Your background:

You are motivated and passionate in human interactions in a customer-facing technical role with background in the Linux operating system.

You have experience with the must-haves and are eager to learn the nice-to-have technologies listed in the tech stack above.

You can effectively communicate in English and German verbally and in writing across all levels in a company.

You are a team player and you love to share your knowledge and learn from others.

You would like to work in an environment without a formal hierarchy and are ready to take ownership for your work.

You are motivated and creative, with a passion for connecting the world through Open Source technology and promoting digital sovereignty.
