Capital Projects Management Associate Manager | Mid-Level | Full time

This position is based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and you need to be willing to relocate to Puerto Rico or currently live in Puerto Rico to be considered.

You have a solid working knowledge and experience in the engineering documentation and information management processes required to build and modernize physical assets, infrastructure, and buildings. You have experience and/or interests in digital solutions that can help clients do more. You are good with people and eager to learn new project and product solutions. You are comfortable supporting project leads during meetings and workshops, and able to support with material and content development.

THE WORK:

• You’ll support electrical estimates including the following: substation upgrades and substation build out, including control housework, and civil underground work.
• You’ll prepare standard WBS estimates and assumptions with documentation of confidence.
• You’ll prepare side by side analysis of estimates upon request to provide lessons learned and to generate parametric values.
• You’ll support, contribute, and implement the standardization of estimating standards required to develop better processes with the Project team.
• You’ll apply applicable standards, methods, processes and practices, business fundamentals, and performance metrics in the electric, distribution, transmission, and substation areas for all cost estimates.
• You’ll possess a strong understanding of design drawings and detailed engineering and construction prints.
• You’ll calculate job requirements from design documents, including quantities, resource hours, duration, limitations, etc.
• You’ll conduct modeling, forecasting, trending, variance analysis, and other estimate-related financial and implementation analysis.
• You’ll track, maintain, analyze and provide current estimating information on scorecard or key performance indicators.
• You’ll prepare, update, and maintain standard material and labor unit costs to support estimate creation and database updates.
