THE POSITION
Do you have a degree in data analytics, an information technology (IT) related field, or accounting with a concentration in IT and want to help make your community stronger? The Department of the Auditor General (DAG) is looking for a motivated self-starting individual like you to join our team of IT Auditors to work in data analytics and information security auditing. This position is eligible for student loan forgiveness and provides excellent health, savings, and retirement benefits. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The DAG is excited to welcome several Information Technology Auditor 1 positions within the Bureau of Information Technology Audits. As an IT Auditor 1, you will participate in auditing IT systems in government agencies and programs, as well as organizations, businesses, and other entities that receive state funds. The auditor determines that compliance with Commonwealth security standards, applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, rules, and auditing standards are being met. This professional also performs data analysis using a variety of automated tools including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and Audit Command Language (ACL).
