IKT-OST AöR is a joint municipal enterprise and public authority for the districts of Mecklenburgische Seenplatte and Vorpommern-Greifswald as well as the four-gate city of Neubrandenburg. Information Security Officer School IT (m/f/d)

Your Tasks At The Neubrandenburg Site:

• Observation and assessment of the current risk situation
• Coordination and control of the entire information security process including documentation
• Introduction, implementation and further development of the information security management system (ISMS)
• Initiating and reviewing the implementation of security measures
• Advising the Executive Board, management and employees on information security issues
• Advice and support for projects on information security issues
• Conducting audits and risk analyses on information security
• Monitoring the effectiveness of IT security measures and recommending measures
• Processing security incidents and deriving recommendations for action
• Regular and event-driven reporting to the Executive Board on the status quo of information security
• Implementation and organization of training and awareness-raising measures
• Support in the creation of IT security concepts and the development of guidelines and instructions relating to information security
• Coordination with the Information Security Officer for the Administration business unit and the Data Protection Officer

Your Profile:

• Successfully completed studies in a relevant IT or engineering field with a high affinity for IT (e.g. computer science, business informatics, IT security or comparable) or comparable qualification through IT training with relevant additional qualifications
• Additional qualification as a certified information security officer or IT baseline protection practitioner desirable
• Sound knowledge of information security and the IT security environment including the relevant legal framework and standards (BSI basic protection, ISO 27001 etc.) desirable
• Experience in the introduction and ongoing development of an information security management system (ISMS) based on BSI baseline protection or comparable standards desirable
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructures and services
• Hands-on mentality, ability to work in a team and strong communication skills at all levels
• Very good knowledge of the MS Office package
• Willingness and ability to undergo continuous and comprehensive further training
• Class B driving license
