Information Security Officer / ISB (m/f/x)

WASGAU Produktions & Handels AG, based in Pirmasens, is a leading regional company in the food trade and food production sector. With our two production facilities in the butchery and bakery sectors, we offer a full range of high-quality, fresh food products in our approximately 70 WASGAU supermarkets and hypermarkets as well as six cash-and-carry outlets. Your tasks

1. Control, coordination and expansion of the information security management system
2. Coordination and participation in the creation and updating of security concepts and associated sub-concepts and guidelines
3. Ensuring that measures and regulations are documented in an up-to-date, meaningful and comprehensible manner
4. Coordinating internal and external audits and safety-related projects
5. Initiating and supporting training courses on information security
6. Direct consulting and reporting to the management
7. Creation of security guidelines and coordination of security concepts and associated guidelines
8. Development of practical, secure solutions, taking into account economic and risk-oriented aspects
9. Advising management and specialist departments on all IT security issues

Your profile

1. You have a degree in computer science, IT security, business informatics or a comparable qualification
2. You already have experience in information security, ideally as a security officer or in a comparable role
3. You have in-depth knowledge of information security standards such as ISO 27001 and BSI baseline protection and are familiar with the requirements of the NIS2 directive
4. You are familiar with legal requirements such as GDPR, NIS2, KRITIS or the IT Security Act
5. You have an understanding of network technologies, IT infrastructures, web servers and common security tools
6. You can clearly and comprehensibly communicate security requirements to technical and non-technical stakeholders
7. You have a high level of integrity and reliability when handling sensitive information
8. You have the ability to implement security measures even in challenging situations
9. You deal with people in an appreciative and trustworthy manner and have a confident demeanor with a convincing, addressee-oriented argumentation
10. You have a high sense of responsibility, your way of working is team- and service-oriented
