Let's connect : If you want to experience how things are done in the IT Security Risk & Compliance team at our headquarters in Hanover, Germany, join us on a permanent basis as an Information Security Officer.

You can look forward to

• Supporting the CISO and the team's Information Security Officers in their daily work, initiatives, and projects related to IT and cybersecurity; particularly in operating and developing our global ISMS and managing information security risks.
• Assuming responsibility as the global contact person for selected IT security topics within the Group-wide ISMS, including maintaining and developing the framework, conducting risk analyses, and assessing non-conformities.
• Establishing binding measures, monitoring, and reporting, including measurement.
• Providing guidance on achieving information security goals, advising on security solutions, and assisting in prioritizing activities during triage situations. Explaining technical issues clearly to decision-makers and discussing solutions with IT specialists.
• Supporting the development of an open risk/opportunity culture through communication measures like awareness training and presentations.

You come equipped with

• Relevant experience in a control function such as information risk or security management, ideally within a global company or IT environment.
• Knowledge of frameworks like ISO27001, NIST, ITIL, and familiarity with regulatory requirements such as VAIT/BAIT, along with practical experience in IT security, operations, or software development.
• Experience in at least two areas: security monitoring, platform security, operational resilience, cybercrime resilience, or change management.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Willingness to travel internationally occasionally.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, result-oriented, and solution-focused.
