Leidos National Security Sector (NSS) is seeking a highly experienced and skilled mission-driven Information Operations (IO) Planner to support CENTCOM campaigning, mission planning, and execution at the operational and strategic level as part of the APOLLO / OPIAS. This role involves planning, Information Forces and their capabilities integration (IRC), and coordination across joint, combined, and interagency teams. The OIE planner will be required to work closely with military counterparts to ensure IO effects are integrated into all phases of operations. This position is on a future contract pending award announcement.

Key Responsibilities :
- Assess lethal and non-lethal effects from Information Forces and activities (i.e., MISO, MILDEC, EW) and provide recommendations into the targeting process for refinement of targeting guidance and objectives.
- Apply situational awareness within planning and synchronization of OIE with CCMDs' mission partners.
- Develop plans and concepts to leverage the inherent informational aspects of joint force activities in the theater.
- Apply operational art and operational design in the application of JOPP / MDMP.
- Integrate Information Forces and activities across multiple domains, environments, and geographic boundaries, supporting both domestic and overseas operations via OIE planners, intelligence analysts, cultural advisors, and linguists.
- Work with military planners to analyze and synthesize data to inform plans and operations.
- Provide analysis including basic descriptive statistics, longitudinal analysis, and hypothesis testing (e.g., non-parametric correlation, principal components analysis).
- Support assessments of the information environment using opinion research data, intelligence, operational reporting, and social media insights.
- Contribute to opinion research design and interpretation, including surveys, focus groups, and interviews.
- Develop concepts to counter adversarial use of information and consider cultural aspects affecting planning, security, and risk.
- Apply technical skills to planning/execution, track measures of performance, and advise on PSYOP / MISO application.
- Review and operationalize directives supporting mission elements.
- Integrate with interagency and intelligence community (IC)
- Coordinate and synchronize operations, and develop support for related capabilities.
- Utilize knowledge of MISO / IO, MILDEC, OPSEC, EW, and cyberspace operations to support and synchronize activities.
- Review and incorporate qualitative research to contextualize quantitative findings.
Basic Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s with 6+ OR 12 years of direct IO planning experience.
- Minimum 5 years of IO planning experience at a joint / service level.
- Formal OIE background (e.g., FA30, or equivalent civilian / contractor training).
- Strong knowledge of joint planning, targeting, and doctrinal processes.
- Active TS / SCI security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Master’s degree in Strategic Communications, Information Ops, or National Security.
- Completion of JIOPC, OPSEC Planners Course, or similar military planning courses.
- SAMS or SAW Graduate.
- Operational experience supporting CENTCOM AOR, or similar regions.
- Familiarity with MILDEC, EW, Cyber, MISO, Public Affairs, Civil Affairs, Space, and Intelligence Operations.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Pay Range :
Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
