Job Description

I will drive the deployment of state-of-the-art IT solutions and create synergies between two application landscapes within the European Elia Group. Why is this role interesting for me?

As an IT Solution Architect (f/m/d), you will be involved at the forefront of these developments and dynamics.

My responsibilities as IT Solution Architect (f/m/d):

1. Participation in major transformation projects requiring new IT solutions integrated into the current application environment.
2. Identifying business needs and proposing modern IT technologies and solutions.
3. Defining and designing solution(s) and application(s) architecture in line with IT Group strategy and standards.
4. Ensuring best practice deployment.
5. Collaborating on the IT roadmap definition and synergy initiatives at Group level to simplify and rationalize the IT landscape.
6. Coordinating and cooperating with other IT stakeholders and the internal software factory.
7. Taking charge of all integration aspects regarding new application implementations and actively participating as an expert in relevant committees.

My profile:

• Several years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in integrating new solutions into existing systems.
• Relevant experience in designing complex IT systems and broader application architecture at the functional level.
• Knowledge concerning cloud environments as well as SAP.
• Knowledge of GIS, digital & mobile workforce technology, and modern development practices like DevOps or Cloud platforms is highly appreciated.
• Autonomous, proactive, and agile working style and attitude.
• Skills: English (C1), German (minimum B1), French or Dutch would be a plus.

Additional knowledge and experience in software development, integration design patterns, custom application design, and the energy/electricity/utility sector would make your application particularly interesting.

Work Environment:

• Flexibility: 37 hours/week (full-time), flexible working hours with long-term account to support work-life balance.
• Unlimited flex days, no core working hours, mobile working (including from home) is possible.
