  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B software company.
  • Experience working with customers across industries, including automotive, manufacturing and process automation, life sciences, chemicals, etc.
  • Experience selling to enterprise accounts, selling a portfolio of products or solutions at the C-level.
  • Ability to communicate in English and German fluently to work with local and international customers in EMEA.

Preferred qualifications :

  • Experience selling Cloud Solutions, Infrastructure Software, Databases, Analytic Tools, or Applications Software, aligning solutions to drive business outcomes.
  • Experience supporting large enterprise organizations, growing existing customer bases and acquiring new logos at scale, to increase spend and accelerate consumption business.
  • Experience working with, and leading, cross-functional teams and partners in implementations and discussion.
  • Experience with commercial and legal discussion , working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
  • Experience working with Customer Engineers and customers' technical leads to inventory software estate, define migration plans, and build migration business cases.
  • Experience cultivating C-level relationships and influencing executives.

As an Industry Business Principal supporting Accounts, you will lead the growth strategy for a business group within one of our customers and partners. You will leverage experience engaging with senior executives to build on existing relationships and establish relationships in new areas. As a trusted business partner, you will be deeply invested in the customer's industry, their competitive environment, technical tests, financial models, and broader business goals. You will be part of a large and successful account team working to harness all the assets Google has to support the customers' success.

Responsibilities

  • Build executive relationships with a customer base to influence their long-term technology and business decisions. Add value as a trusted advisor by bringing compelling insights and ideas with follow through execution.
  • Lead business cycles (i.e. presenting multi-year agreements to C-level executives), partneringterms and managing associated legal and business risks.
  • Lead account strategy to develop business growth opportunities, working cross-functionally with multiple teams and Google Partners, to maximize business impact within enterprise customers.
  • Run and manage global accounts with multiple opportunities across different functions with forecast and budgetary accuracy, serving as the primary customer contact for all adoption-related activities.
