Location: Neuendorf am Speck, Germany

We, AFFELDT Maschinenbau GmbH, are a globally operating company that designs, develops, and manufactures state-of-the-art packaging lines for various products including fruits and vegetables, baked goods and confectionery, printed materials, frozen products, and other food and non-food items.

We are seeking an Engaged Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d) to join our team at our Neuendorf near Elmshorn location, starting as soon as possible. This is a full-time position (37 hours/week).

Your Responsibilities:

• Assembly of components and machines
• Assembly and installation of pneumatic assemblies
• Commissioning of individual components
• Support in the setup and commissioning of our machines at the factory and on-site with customers
• Conducting and documenting functionality tests
• Support in electrical installation of our systems
• Training of our customers' staff

Your Profile:

• Completed training as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, or comparable qualification
• Initial professional experience in machinery and plant construction
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight away from home
• Driver's license class B; forklift license recommended
• Structured, solution-oriented, and customer-focused working style
• Proficiency in German (spoken and written)
• English skills are advantageous
• Motivation, flexibility, and team spirit
