Your Future Workplace
For our client in the plastics industry, we are seeking an Industrial Clerk Customer Support (m/w/d) for temporary agency work with the possibility of permanent employment, starting as soon as possible.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage order backlog for a specific number of customer accounts according to established procedures, rules, work practices, and guidelines, including compliance with trade regulations
- Analyze and input customer orders, forecasts, and retrieve data into systems, ensuring data integrity (prices, sales conditions, MOQs, lead times, etc.). Collaborate with demand planners, sales teams, and customers to understand demand trends when needed
- Integrate and execute customer-specific instructions (packaging, shipping calendar, etc.). Confirm orders and delivery dates
- Create and issue invoices, manage credit notes
- Generate reports as needed, support and participate in operational meetings with customers
- Build and maintain close relationships with customers, sales teams, production sites, and supply chain organization. Communicate with all involved parties as necessary
- Provide information for contracts, e.g., logistics parameters and workflows
- Completed vocational training as an industrial clerk (m/w/d)
- Further education as an industrial business administrator (m/w/d)
- At least 5 years of experience in customer support or commercial support in an international environment
- Advanced knowledge in supply chain management
- SAP skills (ECC or S/4HANA), IBP knowledge is advantageous
- Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus
