Tasks
- Carrying out the calibration of calipers, torque spanners, dial gauges and measuring standards (e.g. limit plug gauges)
- Visual inspection of measuring equipment for conformity and its evaluation
- Ensuring compliance with calibration standards and methods
- Creating detailed calibration reports and checking the results
- Independent implementation of adjustments in the event of deviations
- Communicating non-conformities to the user via IT systems
- Suggesting improvements to calibration methods in terms of quality, efficiency and cost
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or industrial mechanic with many years of professional experience
- Several years of professional experience in industrial mechanics
- Sound knowledge of measurement technology and calibration
- Business fluent German and basic knowledge of English
- Existing work permit for the European Union
