SCHÖLLY FIBEROPTIC GMBH is seeking an Industrial Engineer for NPI to drive new product introductions into manufacturing. You will ensure design feasibility and manufacturability, and plan validations to secure smooth transitions to serial production.

You will monitor processes during the development-to-serial transition and drive improvements across manufacturing, leveraging a degree in engineering and 2–3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or comparable qualification.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in NPI, product development or manufacturing.
• Solid knowledge of medical technology, manufacturing processes and production methodologies.
• German and English language skills at CEFR C1 level.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CAD experience (ideally with SolidWorks).
• Hands-on mentality, strong organizational skills and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate the introduction of new products (NPI) into the manufacturing process.

Your responsibilities

Your profile

• You hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• You have 2–3 years of professional experience in NPI, product development, or manufacturing, and possess solid knowledge of medical technology, manufacturing processes, and production methodologies
• Your German and English language skills are at CEFR C1 level
• You are proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and ideally have CAD experience, preferably with SolidWorks
• In addition, you are characterized by a hands-on mentality, strong organizational skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities
