Job summary

Advantest Europe GmbH sucht eine/n Industrial Engineer – Manufacturing Excellence (m/w/d) in Böblingen. Sie optimieren Fertigungsprozesse komplexer Elektronikbaugruppen, treiben Lean-Initiativen voran und arbeiten eng mit CM, Operations, Supply Chain sowie F&E zusammen.

Sie verfügen über ein Hochschulstudium in Industrial/Production Engineering, mehrjährige relevante Erfahrung, analytische Stärke und gute Englischkenntnisse.

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium in Industrial, Production, Manufacturing oder vergleichbarem Bereich.
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Operations oder Production Management.
• Fundierte Kenntnisse von Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen und Abfallreduzierung.
• Erfahrung mit Contract Manufacturers und globalen Produktionsnetzwerken.
• Analytische und problembasierte Arbeitsweise, datengetriebene Entscheidungsfindung.
• Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse, Deutschkenntnisse wünschenswert.

Responsibilities

• Analyse und Optimierung von Fertigungsprozessen komplexer Elektronikbaugruppen mit Fokus auf Effizienz, Skalierbarkeit, Durchsatz und Kosten.
• Vorantreiben von kontinuierlichen Verbesserungsinitiativen nach Lean-Methoden und IE-Ansätzen.
• Bewertung von Produktionskonzepten, Flüssen, Layouts und Fertigungsstrategien mit internen/external Partnern.
• Identifikation von Engpässen, Verschwendung und Ineffizienzen; Implementierung nachhaltiger Verbesserungen.
• Zusammenarbeit mit CM, Operations, Supply Chain und F&E zur Verbesserung der Herstellbarkeit.
• Definition und Überwachung von KPI wie Cycle Time, Throughput, OEE, Auslastung, Produktivität, Yield, Kosten.
• Unterstützung bei Industrialization, Produktions-Ramp-up und Transferaktivitäten.
• Leitung von Value-Stream-Analysen und Prozessoptimierungsprojekten zur Leistungssteigerung.
• Datenbasierte Entscheidungsfindung durch Analyse von Produktionsdaten.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles and Industrial Engineering methodologies. Evaluate production concepts, process flows, layouts, and manufacturing strategies together with internal and external production partners. Identify bottlenecks, waste, and inefficiencies in manufacturing operations and implement sustainable improvements. Collaborate with Contract Manufacturers (CMs), Operations, Supply Chain, and R&D to improve manufacturability and operational performance. Define and monitor manufacturing KPIs such as cycle time, throughput, OEE, utilization, productivity, yield, and cost efficiency. Support industrialization, production ramp-up, and manufacturing transfer activities. Lead value stream analysis and process optimization projects to increase manufacturing performance and reduce operational cost. Drive data-based decision making through analysis of production data and operational metrics.## Ihr ProfilBachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar. Several years of experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations, or production management. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes for complex technical products. Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement, and Waste Reduction methodologies. Experience working with Contract Manufacturers and global production networks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset. Ability to manage cross-functional improvement projects and drive implementation. Very good English communication skills. Willingness to travel (10-20%). Nice to Have Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt. Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, or ATE industry. Knowledge of production planning, capacity planning, and manufacturing ramp-up management.
