Twentyfour Industries is seeking an Industrial Designer to shape rugged, operator-facing hardware across aircraft, ground-control equipment, transport and accessories. You will work from concept through prototyping, collaborating with engineering from the start to improve architecture and producibility.
You will develop a coherent design language focused on form, materials and usability, adapting for field conditions such as gloved handling and low-light operation, and supporting production ramp
We are looking for an Industrial Designer to shape TwentyFour Industries’ physical products so function, usability, manufacturability and a recognizable product language reinforce each other.
You will turn rugged technical systems into coherent products that operators can understand, trust and use under real conditions. Your scope spans aircraft, ground-control equipment, accessories, transport, charging and other operator-facing hardware.
This role is for a hands-on designer who works closely with engineering from the beginning—using sketches, CAD, mock-ups, prototypes and field observation to improve the architecture, not decorate it after the fact.
Experience with UAVs, aerospace, defence, robotics or ruggedised field equipment.
Experience designing complete product families rather than isolated products.
Knowledge of human factors, maintainability, transport systems or field repairability.
Experience taking products through supplier selection, tooling, first articles and production ramp.
Portfolio-level influence: Define the physical product language across aircraft and their wider operating ecosystem.
Design with engineering: Shape architecture, usability and manufacturability from the earliest concepts.
Real field feedback: See products used, test assumptions and improve designs from operational evidence.
Visible impact: Build products whose usability and physical coherence directly affect mission performance and trust.
