Twentyfour Industries is seeking an Electrical Lab Technician to keep our electronics lab ready for engineers to build, test and troubleshoot hardware. This hands-on role focuses on soldering, rework, test execution, and organized lab operations, working closely with engineers on prototype builds, bring‑up and troubleshooting of electronic hardware.

Qualifikationen

• ~5 years experience in or around Electronics lab environment.
• Strong practical electronics and soldering skills, including fine-pitch PCB rework.
• Able to troubleshoot electrical problems methodically.

Aufgaben

• Perform high-quality soldering, rework and modification of PCBs, cables, connectors and electronic assemblies.
• Support prototype builds, bring-up and integration of new electronic hardware.
• Execute electrical tests and measurements using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies and logic analysers.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues systematically and support engineers with root-cause analysis.
• Run defined validation and diagnostic tests, document results and highlight abnormalities.
• Prepare test setups, harnesses, fixtures and equipment for development and validation activities.
• Maintain an organised, clean and safe electronics lab with tools and equipment ready for use.
• Own lab inventory of electronic components, consumables, cables and commonly used hardware.
• Identify missing equipment or consumables and ensure critical items are reordered before they become a bottleneck.
• Maintain basic documentation for lab equipment, test setups and recurring procedures.

You should apply if you

• Comfortable working independently with common electronics laboratory equipment.
• Able to troubleshoot electrical problems methodically rather than only following predefined instructions.
• Experience assembling and modifying prototype electronic systems.
• Organised, reliable and disciplined in maintaining tools, components and workspaces.
• Comfortable documenting measurements, test results and findings clearly.
• Practical mindset and comfortable working in a fast-moving hardware development environment.

Nice to haves

• Prior experience assembling, testing, or troubleshooting electronics for UAVs, drones, or other flight-critical systems.
• Experience assembling and modifying prototype electronic systems.
