Industrial Cybersecurity Expert (f/m/d)

About the Role

The Industrial Cybersecurity Expert (f/m/d) plays a crucial role in ensuring cybersecurity within the operational technology (OT) environment of manufacturing. You will work globally, collaborating with international teams, supporting and guiding factory colleagues with your expertise.

Responsibilities

• Define secure manufacturing principles and support the development of secure IT and OT infrastructure.
• Translate IT/OT governance policies into customized implementation measures.
• Identify cybersecurity needs and demands from factories.
• Specify and maintain configuration and hardening guidelines for products, third-party components, and manufacturing equipment.
• Coordinate with relevant functions to ensure secure IT/OT infrastructures for manufacturing, production, and product development environments.
• Guide teams and produce/review documentation related to product and solution development, engineering, and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Degree (Bachelor or Master) in IT security or related experience in IT and OT.
• Background in computer science or electrical engineering with a focus on IT security.
• Knowledge of manufacturing infrastructure, including IT/OT security technologies (IIoT, Connected Factory, OT hardware and sensors).
• Experience with risk-based approaches, threat and risk analysis.
• Incident and vulnerability management skills.
• Familiarity with international/national standards and regulations for IT/OT security.
• Effective communication skills, especially with shopfloor personnel.
• Solution-oriented and stakeholder management experience.
