Qualifikationen

• 3-5 Jahre Erfahrung im Bereich internationale Steuern (USt).
• Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
• Kenntnis der USt-gesetzgebung in Deutschland.

Indirect Tax (VAT) Analyst (m/w/x)

• Develop professional relationships with the business and provide day-to-day support on requests, advice on (inter)national VAT matters and developments, be the liaison between business and external advisors and coordinate between different teams, including Finance, IT, legal, and other stakeholders;
• Manage the VAT compliance for the VAT registrations held in the EMEA region
• Provide ad hoc support to the VAT consultants who prepare the VAT compliance
• Liaise with external VAT advisors
• Follow and implement changes in the VAT legislation in the EMEA region
• Provide VAT trainings to internal departments

Job Level Specifications:

• Completed degree in business administration, economics, law or comparable qualifications. Specialization or post-graduation in tax is a plus;
• The ideal candidate has 3 to 5 years of professional experience in an international tax (VAT) department or tax consultancy (e.g. Big4);
• Good understanding of operational processes and business models;
• Project experience in indirect tax law (VAT) desirable;
• Very good expertise in the area of indirect taxes and especially German VAT;
• Basic knowledge of corporate tax is a plus;
• Fluent spoken and written language skills in English and German;
• Profound knowledge of common software (MS Office, Powerpoint & notably Excel) & company/business-specific software applications, knowledge of SAP and tax technology;
• Confident appearance and good communication as well as presentation skills;
• Team player with ability to work autonomously in a customer-driven and results oriented environment;
• Team spirit, eager to perform and flexibility including willingness to occasional business trips.
