BBIS has an opening for an Inclusion Specialist and Teacher (Secondary School) (f/m/d).

Limited initially until 31.07.2027
Full-Time: 30 teaching hours per week (40 working hours)
Overview:
The Inclusion Specialist is a key member of the Student Services team, working collaboratively with faculty, students, and families to promote inclusive practices across the Secondary School. This role supports students with diverse learning needs to access the curriculum, achieve their potential, and participate fully in school life. The Inclusion Specialist contributes to the design, implementation, and evaluation of individualized support plans and differentiated instructional strategies aligned with the school’s inclusive education philosophy.
YOUR QUALIFICATION
- Possess a recognized teaching qualification (QTS).
- Certification in teaching Special Education, preferably at Masters level.
- A minimum of 2-years teaching experience, preferably in an IB context (MYP/IBDP).
- Excellent cross-cultural interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams.
- A strong commitment to the safeguarding and well-being of all children and young people.
Important:Before beginning the employment at BBIS, the following documents must be submitted:
- Proof of immunity against measles, which must have been confirmed by a doctor if you were born after 1970. Alternatively, a medical certificate of medical contraindication can be provided.
- The original certificate of the highest obtained (university) degree
- An extended certificate of conduct that must not be older than six months.
These documents are required to comply with legal and internal employment regulations.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to plan and deliver differentiated instruction and assessments that meet the needs of students with learning differences.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) in consultation with students, teachers, families, and specialists.
- Provide targeted academic support to students through co-teaching, small group instruction, or individual sessions.
- Participate in student support team meetings and contribute to referral, review, and progress monitoring processes.
- Promote inclusive classroom environments by advising on appropriate classroom adjustments and accommodations.
- Support the use of assistive technology and other tools to enhance student engagement and access.
- Collaborate with counsellors, EAL specialists, and other Student Support Services team members to provide holistic support.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to student reporting as required.
- Engage in and offer ongoing professional learning in the fields of inclusive education and neurodiversity.
