For our client in the aerospace industry, we are looking for motivated candidates for the following position in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, Germany, with immediate effect:
Job description:
Production support & maintenance services for automated drilling units.
- Actively support production and maintain robots to meet production rates & deadlines.
- Identify and analyze root causes of technical issues.
- Liaise with customers and MTM team to resolve inquiries and provide reliable solutions.
- Program and configure robots.
- Suggest continuous improvements (preventive & corrective actions).
- Report on the technical status of robots & automation solutions.
- Report activities & KPIs to management.
- Serve as a technical liaison regarding assembly, commissioning, integration, installation & testing with maintenance/repair teams & customers from the EU & USA.

- Autonomous in organizing daily tasks.
- Interest in teaching technical info to production and maintenance operators.
- Ability to work well under pressure, during tight deadlines, and in front of customers.

- Willingness to work on shifts.
Qualifications, skills, knowledge & competencies:
- Industrial Mechatronic, Electrical / (Aircraft) Electrical professional training.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Automation is a plus.
- Team player, dynamic, and rigorous.
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Ability to write and update technical documentation for maintenance and operators.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues crossing electrical and hardware domains.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of basic electrical and mechanical control systems, networks & embedded systems.
- Solid understanding of network communication protocols.
- Good knowledge of automation, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial electricity (low voltage) is a plus.
- Interest in robotics & manufacturing processes (not limited to aerospace).
- Willingness to travel 3-4 weeks to the USA for training.
- Interest or desire to work hands-on with robots.
Professional experience:
- Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronic / Industrial maintenance minimum of 2 years, but candidates with limited or no experience will also be considered.
IT skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated to use various software (Metrology, Camera, Motion controller, CAD, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of computer tools (Windows 10, MS Office).
Language skills:
- German: Fluent (ideally, but not mandatory)
- English: Fluent (spoken & written)
- French: Fluent (advantageous)
