Job Title: In-House BI Consultant

About the Role:

My customer focused in the utilities industry are Business Intelligence Consultant to join our in-house analytics team in Cologne. In this role, you will play a key part in designing and delivering robust BI solutions using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, helping to drive data-informed decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end BI solutions using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
• Build and optimize data pipelines and models to support scalable reporting and analysis
• Work closely with business units to gather requirements and transform them into effective data products
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across all BI solutions

Your Profile:

• Proven experience in a similar in-house BI or data analytics role
• Strong technical expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query)
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Real-Time Analytics, etc.)
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Fluent in German
