Job Description:

As a Service Technician, you will be a key member of our Droneport Team, enabling deployment, operation, and servicing of droneport systems at customer sites worldwide. You will work with engineers, technicians, and customers to ensure successful setup, testing, and operation of droneport infrastructure, including demonstrations, training, and test flights. Your hands-on expertise and problem-solving skills will help optimize system performance and support Quantum Systems' mission to lead in aerial data collection with unmanned systems.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Commission and support installation of droneport systems at customer locations.
• Conduct functional testing, flight demonstrations, and end-user training.
• Provide in-field technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and communication systems.
• Collaborate with customers for feedback and system improvements.
• Work with engineering teams to escalate issues and test enhancements.
• Maintain detailed documentation of installations and issues.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Qualifications:

• Technical background in mechatronics, electronics, robotics, aviation, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with hardware and software systems, preferably in UAV, automotive, industrial, or automation environments.
• Basic troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and software components.
• Knowledge of embedded systems, sensors, and communication protocols (Ethernet, 4G/5G, GPS, UWB, Silvus) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and professionally with customers.
• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly, including internationally.
• Experience with drone operations or UAV service work is advantageous.
• Fluent in English.
