Responsibilities:

• Carrying out import customs clearance in day-to-day business

• Checking and verifying customs documents and correcting them if necessary

• Communicating with customs authorities

• Ensuring compliance with deadlines and obligations from day-to-day business

• Ensuring the timely customs clearance of products

• Assessing changes in customs law in close coordination with the specialist departments

• Working closely with customers and specialist departments

Qualifications:

• Completed training as a forwarding agent or comparable training

• Proven in-depth expertise in the field of import customs clearance

• Very good ability to communicate effectively with different levels within and outside the organization

• Experience in communicating with customs authorities

• SAP GTS knowledge is an advantage

• Good MS Office skills

• High customer orientation, ability to work in a team and intercultural skills, in the field of logistics

• Very good organizational and planning skills, especially in project management

• Creative and innovative mindset, hands-on mentality

• Fluent written and spoken German and English
