Jobbeschreibung

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Implementation Director to lead our process implementation and optimization efforts for our warehouse sites in Germany.

The Director of Implementation & Operational Excellence is responsible for standardizing and optimizing GXO’s automation deployment processes by applying consistent best practices and driving a unified “One GXO” approach. This role leads a team focused on continuous improvement, enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, improving service quality, and delivering measurable results through effective strategy execution. The role reports into the Managing Director Germany.

What you’ll do on a typical day :

  1. Develop and Maintain Implementation Playbook : Create and continuously improve a best-in-class implementation playbook, incorporating internal and external best practices, standardized processes, and step-by-step guidance.
  2. Reporting & Insights : Own global reporting on deployment timelines and KPIs through dashboards and data analysis to support strategic decisions.
  3. Implementation Support & Expertise : Provide subject matter expertise, mentor teams, and support regional implementations to ensure consistent application of best practices and measurable success.
  4. Continuous Improvement & Community Building : Drive continuous improvement initiatives, build a cross-regional expert community, foster knowledge sharing across the enterprise.
  5. Project & Client Leadership : Lead end-to-end implementations, manage timelines and budgets, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure successful client onboarding and solution delivery.
  6. Risk & Performance Management : Identify risks, define success metrics, conduct post-implementation reviews, and ensure smooth handover to operations.

What you need to be successful :

  1. Bachelor’s in engineering or any other related field.
  2. Extensive experience leading operational excellence in global roles.
  3. Proven experience in building best-in-class processes and standards.
  4. Strong background in automation.

  1. Strategic thinking, critical and analytical mindset.
  2. Process mindset, methodical in approach.
  3. Influential leadership skills (with and without authority levels).
