Alithea’s main area of activity is the study of HLA-bound peptides by high sensitivity, high-resolution mass spectrometry (immunopeptidomics). The role of the Immunopeptidomics / Proteomics Scientist (F, M, D) will be to take responsibility for lab experiments related to immunopeptidomics analyses and work closely with internal and external teams to answer biological questions.

Your role :

• Perform routine enrichment of HLA complexes from biological material (biochemical enrichment over affinity columns, C18 purification of peptides via SPE)
• Follow lab protocols (SOPs) and develop new ones as necessary
• Process human tissues for HLA enrichment
• Provide mass spectrometry scientists with samples for analysis
• Coordinate, plan, and execute projects with international partners

Your profile :

• At least 3 years of experience working in a biochemical laboratory
• Enjoy working in the lab, including performing proteomics experiments
• Passionate about biomarker discovery and developing innovative precision medicine technologies
• Experience working with primary human samples, ideally in a biosafety level 2 environment
• Previous experience with immunopeptidomics and/or immunology is a plus
• Independent and self-organized, with experience in agile working methods a plus
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
