Role Summary
EUSMS is seeking a mission-driven, self-taught, and tech-savvy volunteer to serve as an IT Developer. This role focuses on improving our IT infrastructure through lightweight, effective solutions. You'll work hands-on to optimize Odoo for our nonprofit’s evolving needs, manage M365 user provisioning and roles, and steward our internal software register hosted on SharePoint. This is a high-autonomy opportunity for someone who enjoys learning by doing—via YouTube tutorials, ChatGPT, and online documentation. You’ll be expected to experiment and implement improvements to enhance security and efficiency across our teams.
How This Role Works
You will make our IT tools work for us by identifying issues, gaps in permissions or processes, and implementing solutions. You’ll document tools, logins, and admin rights to ensure operational continuity if staff leave. Your primary partners will be the CFO Office and East Africa operations teams, but your scope spans the entire organization. You should research, test, and implement solutions independently.
