Contract : Full-time (40 h / week) initially time-limited for two years with possible extension (permanent contract)

The ICT Support Technician is the first point of contact for any ICT issues within the school, supporting all sections and departments. The role requires broad knowledge to assess and respond quickly, functioning in both first and second line support roles. The position also involves supporting event-related technology needs.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Respond to staff requests for assistance with hardware such as interactive whiteboards, tablets, notebooks, desktops, photocopiers, and printers.
  • Support staff with software use, system access, and tips and tricks.
  • Assist students and visitors in accessing the network.
  • Manage the centralized software distribution system to maintain all computers.
  • Monitor and reorder consumable supplies like toner.
  • Submit support requests to photocopier vendors.
  • Catalog, store, loan, recall, and replace small and spare parts of ICT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Manage Apple devices via Jamf MDM solution.
  • Plan and run equipment for auditorium events such as assemblies, concerts, and lectures.
  • Administer Google accounts and other platforms.
  • Record support requests and solutions in the ticket system.
  • Provide on-site and remote support to existing and future LIS branches.
