EUMETSAT is seeking ICT Cloud and Digital Workspace Engineers to enhance their digital workspace infrastructure. The role involves administering cloud solutions, improving user experience, and collaborating with IT teams. The Digital Workspace is a core service provided by the ICT Division, delivered through a hybrid infrastructure combining on-premises and cloud-based solutions. The ongoing transition to the cloud has enhanced flexibility, scalability, security, and innovation capacity. The focus moving forward will be on improving user experience and operational effectiveness via mobile device integration and advanced cloud services.
ICT Cloud and Digital Workspace Engineers will play a key role in operating, integrating, administering, and continuously improving the infrastructure. We seek professionals with around five years of experience who are adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn emerging technologies. Reporting to the ICT Digital Workspace and Datacenter Lead, and collaborating with all IT teams, successful candidates will help develop and optimize EUMETSAT’s digital workspace and supporting systems.
The ICT Digital Workspace Infrastructure primarily relies on Microsoft technologies (both on-premises and cloud), VMware, and complementary tools to enhance functionality, security, resilience, and efficiency.

Proven experience in at least two of the following areas:
Certifications in Microsoft Cloud, Endpoint Management, ITIL, and experience in ISO environments are desirable.
The initial contract is for four years, with subsequent five-year contracts based on performance. There is no limit to contract renewals until retirement age. The position is graded A2 / A3, with a basic salary in euros (net, excluding pension and insurances), negotiable based on experience. Benefits are attractive, and salary scales are reviewed annually.
