We are looking for Icelandic-speaking Customer Service Representatives to join a fast-growing digital support team for one of the world’s leading e-commerce platforms. This is a fully remote opportunity where you’ll be working in a dynamic, international environment, helping customers across various channels including chat, voice, and email .

About the Role

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, offering solutions with empathy and professionalism. You’ll work with a supportive team to ensure smooth, efficient, and positive experiences for every customer you engage with. Key Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries via chat, phone, and email

Resolve issues efficiently and with a customer-first mindset

Manage sensitive and high-risk situations with discretion

Escalate complex cases as needed and follow up to ensure resolution

Stay up to date on internal policies and platform updates

What We Are Looking For

Fluency in Icelandic (B2 / C1 level) – both written and spoken

Ability to type at least 40 words per minute (50+ preferred)

Excellent listening and communication skills

A calm, empathetic, and proactive attitude

Previous experience in customer service, e-commerce, or BPO is a plus

Flexibility to work 24 / 7 rotational shifts (including evenings / weekends)

You must be self-employed and able to invoice within the EU
