HVDC Project Planner*in (m/f/d)
Job Description Summary
HVDC Projects are large and complex projects with multiple sites worldwide and international teams involved. The HVDC Project Planner*in is part of the Project Controls team and is responsible for developing and managing the project schedule, aligning with all functions.
Responsibilities
- Provide schedule status updates to the Project Manager and Lead Project Planner
- Develop and maintain the project schedule by integrating inputs from all functions, units, and third parties
- Communicate schedule status to relevant stakeholders
- Analyze schedule risks and opportunities, working with the team to develop mitigation strategies
- Report on look ahead, backlog, and potential risks to inform project priorities
- Provide regular status reports with forecasts and analytics
- Handle customer reporting and communicate directly with customers on scheduling matters
- Perform critical path analysis and manage multiple critical and near-critical paths
- Generate and evaluate 'what if' scenarios for project execution
- Coordinate with the cost control team to align schedule and cost management
- Support change order analysis with schedule analytics and forecasts
- Manage resource loading into the project schedule
Educational Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or Economics
Experience and Knowledge
- Several years of planning management experience within project teams
- Knowledge of planning control principles (WBS, critical path, progress, resource loading)
- Proficiency in Primavera P6
