HVAC Expert - Germany, Frankfurt - 18 Month Contract

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global pharmaceutical client based in the surroundings of Frankfurt. Due to a large capital investment and multiple projects on site, the client is looking for aHVAC Expert to join their team.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead HVAC design review and implementation for GMP-compliant sterile manufacturing environments
• Ensure HVAC systems meet EU GMP, FDA, and ISO cleanroom standards for sterile production
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and qualification (CQV) of HVAC systems in alignment with project milestones
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, and CQV teams to ensure HVAC integration with cleanrooms, labs, and production areas
• Support risk assessments, deviation management, and change control related to HVAC systems
• Provide technical expertise during FAT/SAT, validation, and handover phases
• Ensure HVAC systems support environmental monitoring, pressure differentials, and contamination control
• Contribute to project documentation, including URS, DQ, IQ/OQ protocols, and SOPs

Key requirements include:

• Requires extensive experience in HVAC design and delivery for GMP/sterile pharmaceutical facilities
• Proven track record on large-scale greenfield or brownfield projects, ideally in injectable or aseptic manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of EU GMP Annex 1, ISO 14644, and HVAC cleanroom classifications
• Experience working in cross-functional teams including engineering, CQV, and operations
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus but not essential
