We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical HVAC Engineer (m / f / d) to join our team. The Mechanical Engineer will collaborate with engineers and designers in a team environment to prepare construction documents for various systems, including HVAC wet / dry, plumbing, controls and related systems.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Performing of engineering tasks for the design of utilities and HVAC dry systems for high technology facilities including cleanrooms, general manufacturing / process facilities and institutional facilities
  • Preparation of mechanical engineering calculations in support of HVAC systems designs including heat load calculations, duct sizing, chilled water hydraulics, static pressure calculations, equipment sizing and selection
  • Coordination with disciplines in the preparation and development of the deliverables and ensuring those other disciplines' inputs are incorporated
  • Support of project on-site execution and making decisions to support projects and act as technical consultant
  • Assisting in developing studies and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by discipline team
  • Close collaboration with the project team and other disciplines as well as other design offices
  • Assisting in the development of conceptual design, preliminary design, and final design documents which would include calculations related to sizing and selecting of these systems, the development of Process and Instrumentation Diagrams, general arrangements and sequences of operation associated with these systems

Show your expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required
  • Several years of professional experience with TGA and clean room technology systems ideally in the semiconductor industry
  • General knowledge of codes and common industry standards related to the design of industrial and manufacturing facilities and systems
  • Good knowledge in the design of HVAC systems
  • Proficiency in German is required, knowledge of English would be an advantage
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
