- Travel to different data center sites on a long-term rotational schedule of 4 weeks traveling and 1 week off
- Participate in startup and commissioning of new units
- Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions
- Execute regularly scheduled maintenance on heating and cooling units
- Review and interpret regulatory requirements and technical documents, including blueprints and diagrams
- Cultivate strong customer relationships
- Escalate issues for resolution when necessary
- Adhere to licensing requirements and operate equipment safely
- Recognize HVAC-related hazards, complete safety training, and implement effective safety measures
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Provide expert service and quality as a traveling HVAC service technician
Requirements
- 5+ years practical working experience in the HVAC Industry
- 3+ years working on Centrifugal Chillers
- Ability to Push / Pull / Lift 50lbs
- EPA Universal Certification
- Must be able to stand, crawl, sit, squat for extended periods of time, climb a ladder, and work on rooftops
- High School Diploma/GED
- Possess and maintain a valid and current Driver's License and be insurable by the company's insurance carrier
- Strong working knowledge of 19XR, 30CF, and CDU chillers
- Strong working knowledge of air-side systems (constant volume, VAV)
- Strong working knowledge of water-side systems (hot water, chilled water, condenser water)
- Applicants may be located anywhere in the United States
