Jobtailor is seeking an experienced traveling HVAC service technician to service centrifugal chillers across multiple data center sites in the United States. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in HVAC, 3+ years on centrifugal chillers, and EPA Universal Certification. You will travel on a defined rotation, build strong customer relationships, and support startups and commissioning of new units.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years practical working experience in the HVAC Industry.
• 3+ years working on Centrifugal Chillers.
• EPA Universal Certification and valid driver's license.
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Must be able to stand, crawl, sit, squat for extended periods, climb ladders, and work on rooftops.

Aufgaben

• Travel to data center sites on a 4 weeks traveling / 1 week off rotation.
• Participate in startup and commissioning of new units.
• Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
• Execute regularly scheduled maintenance on heating and cooling units.
• Review and interpret regulatory requirements and technical documents (blueprints, diagrams).

Requirements

• 5+ years practical working experience in the HVAC Industry
• 3+ years working on Centrifugal Chillers

• EPA Universal Certification

• High School Diploma/GED
• Possess and maintain a valid and current Driver's License and be insurable by the company's insurance carrier
• Strong working knowledge of 19XR, 30CF, and CDU chillers
• Strong working knowledge of air-side systems (constant volume, VAV)
• Strong working knowledge of water-side systems (hot water, chilled water, condenser water)
• Applicants may be located anywhere in the United States
