Segula Technologies in Germany seeks an engineer for HV component and battery analysis. You will perform hands-on diagnostics, fault tracing, and root cause investigations on HV batteries and associated systems, including BMS, inverters, and DC/DC converters.

You will collaborate with R&D, engineering, manufacturing, suppliers and aftersales to validate findings and support corrective actions, document results in quality systems, and help advance investigation methods and product quality.

Formación

• Perform hands-on diagnostics, fault tracing, failure analysis, and root cause investigations of HV batteries and components (e.g., BMS, inverters, onboard chargers, DC/DC converters, and electric drive systems).
• Safely inspect, disassemble, analyze and where required, repair HV components and battery packs within the scope of applicable qualifications and authorizations.
• Analyze warranty-returned HV components and batteries, including failure reproduction, testing, and validation of technical findings.
• Use vehicle diagnostics, CAN data, measuring equipment, and engineering tools to investigate hardware- and software-related faults.
• Independently execute assigned field quality investigations, from problem definition through root cause identification and technical recommendations.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, manufacturing plants, suppliers, and aftersales teams to validate findings and support corrective actions.
• Support Product Quality Project Leads with technical input during the early stages of the 8D process (D0–D3).
• Document investigation results, manage technical findings in relevant quality systems, and communicate conclusions to stakeholders.
• Contribute to improving investigation methods, technical knowledge, and product quality.
