About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Specialist to join our growing international team at our office in Sierksdorf, Germany. This is an exciting opportunity to support HR operations across multiple European countries, with a particular focus on Germany and France.
This is a high impact, high visibility position, where you’ll play a vital role in ensuring HR processes run smoothly, support compliance with local labour laws, and contribute to fostering a positive, people-focused workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for HR-related matters for the German and French teams.
- Administer core HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, employee lifecycle management, and documentation.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant with local labour legislation in Germany and France.
- Support payroll coordination and benefits administration in collaboration with local vendors and finance teams.
- Assist with employee relations, performance management processes, and day-to-day HR queries.
- Maintain accurate HR records and manage updates in the HRIS system.
- Support HR reporting, analytics, and audit preparation as required.
- Collaborate with the wider HR and operational teams to improve and harmonize HR practices across Europe.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in an international or multi-country environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment law in Germany and France.
- Experience supporting additional European regions (e.g., Benelux) is a plus.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms and strong administrative/organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English and German; French is a strong advantage.
- A proactive, hands-on mindset with a high level of discretion and integrity.
- CIPD is a plus but not a must.
