HR Specialist — Frankfurt in an international fintech environment seeks a hands-on generalist to run HR operations and workplace experience for the Frankfurt entity. You will be the go-to person for the full employee journey and work closely with an international People team.

Your responsibilities cover onboarding, documentation, performance reviews, benefits, engagement surveys, events, and compliance with German labor law, immigration processes, and payroll documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as an HR Generalist / People Ops / HR Specialist in a fast-paced international environment.
• Working knowledge of German employment law and immigration procedures.
• Fluent English (working language); German is a plus, not a must.
• A proactive, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset — things change fast, and you enjoy that.
• Based in or able to commute to Frankfurt

Aufgaben

• Own the employee lifecycle end-to-end: contracts and documentation, onboarding and orientations, performance review support, offboarding.
• Look after benefits and perks — and help shape them as the company grows.
• Run engagement surveys, gather feedback, and turn it into action.
• Organize recognition initiatives and team events that keep the culture strong.
• Act as first point of contact for employee relations topics.
• Keep everything compliant: German labor law, workplace safety, immigration and visa processes (incl. Blue Card hires).
• Administer the HRIS, attendance tracking, and payroll documentation.
• Keep the office running smoothly: vendors, supplies, facilities, desk planning.
• Coordinate maintenance and health & safety checks.
• Organize business travel for the team
• Support budget tracking for HR and office spend
• Coordinate CSR and community initiatives

Our client, a European fintech company, is looking for a hands-on HR Specialist to run HR operations and the workplace experience for their Frankfurt entity. You'll be the go-to person for the full employee journey — a varied generalist role with local ownership, working closely with an international People team.

What you'll do:

People
