Key Responsibilities
EU Payroll:
Ensure accurate and timely execution of monthly payroll processing across the EU.
Act as a key contact for HRIS and payroll-related inquiries, providing support and guidance.
Assist HR Solutions Analysts (m/f/d) with payroll reconciliation and collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies.
Serve as a backup for HR Solutions Analysts (m/f/d) during absences.
Support audits (e.g., IATF, ISO9000, K-SOX) and government inspections by handling payroll-related inquiries.
Maintain and update payroll process documentation, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Provide support for local payroll-related negotiations.
Identify and implement improvements in payroll programs, policies, and processes to enhance efficiency.
Work closely with the HRIS team and payroll service providers to ensure seamless system integrations.
Assist in reviewing and implementing system updates in Workday and other payroll-impacting platforms.
EU Total Rewards:
Act as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for the company pension plan at the Leverkusen site and other EU benefits, ensuring proper administration.
Support the design, implementation, and regional rollout of employee benefits programs.
Prepare presentation materials for the approval of new or modified benefits.
Assist the Total Rewards team in developing communication materials related to compensation and benefits.
Conduct benchmarking surveys and provide insights to regional HR partners based on Total Rewards strategies.
Continuously enhance policies, processes, and administration of compensation and benefits to improve efficiency.
Support regular audits of Total Rewards processes and ensure compliance.
Maintain and update process documentation, including the annual review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Generate recurring and ad-hoc reports and analyses related to compensation and benefits.
Assist the finance team with salary planning, annual budgeting (AOP), and other financial processes.
Provide additional support for regional Total Rewards initiatives as required.
