Human Resources Manager – BERLIN based

Big Mamma is a French-Italian restaurant group founded by Victor Lugger and Tigrane Seydoux. Over the past 10 years, we have opened 28 restaurants across Europe (France, Belgium, Monaco, England, Spain, Germany, and Italy).

With more than 10,000 clients daily, our places are extremely warm, offering authentic cuisine with products imported directly from Italy — all 100% fresh and homemade.

As part of the Global HR Team, and supported by one dedicated People Partner, the Human Resources Manager Germany will oversee responsibilities for our three restaurants (Giorgia in Munich, Edmondo in Hamburg, Coccodrillo in Berlin) and upcoming openings in the country.

Business Partner:

• Collaborate closely with our operations team: COO, Restaurant GMs, Managers, Chefs
• Support operations throughout all stages of recruitment (including lead generation)
• Serve as HR expert on contracts, training, recruitment, career development, and compensation
• Advise managers on key personnel decisions
• Analyze and challenge people-related costs
• Ensure management and performance review principles are applied

• Enhance staff retention
• Develop our employer brand
• Maintain close relationships with teams to anticipate and resolve tensions

Candidate Profile:

We seek an HR generalist with 5-10 years of experience, passionate about people and food, possessing strong interpersonal and talent acquisition skills.

Languages required: English; German and Italian are a plus.
