What You’ll do
The Purpose of the Human Resources Lead is to assist with various human resources functions and to provide support to both management and associates at their location. This role plays a vital part in ensuring a positive and productive work environment while upholding company policies and legal compliance. The HR Lead will be responsible for overseeing employment-related activities at the location level, which include but are not limited to staffing, timekeeping, record keeping of performance coaching, benefits administration, and training coordination.
- Promote positive associate relations through effective communication and fostering a supportive work culture.
- Play a vital role in shaping the perception of our company and our values.
- Review applications to assess candidate qualifications and suitability for open positions.
- Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and store management.
- Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding.
- Plan and take part in community events to enhance hiring efforts.
- Coordinate and conduct new associate orientations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date associate records in the Human Capital Management system.
- Assist with benefits administration and enrollment processes.
- Coordinate and conduct training sessions on assorted topics.
- Support performance management processes.
- Serve as a point of contact for associates, addressing inquiries promptly.
- Assist your HR Business Partner to resolve associate conflicts and disciplinary issues.
- Partner with the Store Support Center Human Resources and the Store Manager.
- Maintain associate communication by removing outdated communications and posting current information.
- Oversee the location’s safety program.
- Maintain a strong code of ethics and high degree of confidentiality.
- Regularly communicate with partners from Store Support Center.
- Use general office equipment such as telephone, copy machine, fax machine, and computer.
- May be required to work evenings and weekends.
- Oversee monthly cash reporting as needed.
- Maintain office and breakroom supplies.
- Maintain breakroom and training space standards.
- Participate in cross-training for flexibility in various departments.
- Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualities for Success
- At least 2 years of human resources experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
