JW Marriott Berlin invites a motivated student to join our Human Resources team as an HR Intern/Mandatory Intern (m/f/d). You will support daily HR operations in a luxury, international hotel in Berlin, collaborating with the talent team on recruiting, training and employee lifecycle tasks.

The role requires you to be enrolled in a relevant degree program, possess strong MS Office skills, and communicate fluently in German and English.

Qualifikationen

• You are currently enrolled in a degree program related to hotel management, tourism, business administration, HR or a related field.
• Internship is required as part of your degree program.
• You enjoy working with people and are warm, genuine, and outgoing.
• You are organized, reliable, and discreet.
• Good working knowledge of standard MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English.

Aufgaben

• Assist HR team with day-to-day operations in an international luxury hotel.
• Support recruitment processes: review applications, schedule interviews, communicate with candidates.
• Assist Training & Development and handle administrative tasks related to professional development programs.
• Prepare certificates and personnel records, maintain employee data.
• Assist with payroll preparation and related administrative tasks.
• Represent JW Marriott Berlin at career and college fairs and support employer branding initiatives.
• Contribute to onboarding and offboarding activities and create positive employee experiences.

• You'll be an important part of our Human Resources team and will support us in the varied day-to-day operations of an international luxury hotel.
• You'll work closely with our Human Resources team and gain exciting insights into all areas of HR work.
• Organizing employee events, such as Employee Week, team events, and "TakeCare" activities, will be part of your responsibilities.
• You'll help support our employees, trainees, and interns and serve as a point of contact for their concerns.
• As part of the recruiting process, you'll assist us in reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
• You'll gain insights into the Training & Development department and assist with administrative tasks related to training and professional development programs.
• Preparing certificates and personnel records, as well as maintaining employee data, are also part of your responsibilities.
• You'll become familiar with the administrative processes of the HR department and assist with preparatory tasks for payroll accounting.
• Together with our team, you'll represent the JW Marriott Berlin at career and college fairs and assist with employer branding initiatives.
