About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and people-focused HR Business Partner to join our growing HR team, based in Gotha, Germany. This role will be a key point of contact for all HR matters across our German sites (Gotha, Bochum, and Gottmadingen) as well as our Czech operations, supporting employees and managers across the full HR lifecycle. You will work in close partnership with operational leadership, reporting directly to the VP 2 Finance, with a dotted line to our HR Manager. This is a hands-on, generalist role that combines day-to-day HR operations with strategic input into our broader people agenda.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted HR advisor for employees and managers across Germany and the Czech Republic

• Deliver full-cycle HR support including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, learning and development, and offboarding

• Ensure compliance with local labour laws and internal HR policies in both countries

• Support and coordinate HR activities across our sites in Gotha, Bochum, and Gottmadingen

• Partner with the wider HR team to align strategy, share best practices, and implement cross-border HR initiatives

• Contribute to workforce planning and organisational development efforts

• Maintain accurate employee records and support payroll processes in collaboration with Finance

• Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture

Requirements

• Solid experience as an HR Business Partner or Generalist in a multi-site or international setting

• Strong working knowledge of German labour law; knowledge of Czech employment law is an advantage • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic and hands-on approach

• HR Qualification – CIPD or equivalent

• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken) is required

• Comfortable working independently while staying connected to a wider HR team

• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
