Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Barleben, Germany. This is a freelance opportunity ideal for a dynamic HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about shaping organizational culture and driving HR excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the central point of contact for employees and managers throughout all phases of the employee lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with local management and cross-functional HR teams (Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Analytics, HR Services) to resolve both operational and strategic HR matters.
  • Implement and manage HR tools and processes in alignment with group standards.
  • Partner constructively with local employee representatives and unions, including drafting company policies and supporting negotiations.
  • Actively contribute to ongoing restructuring initiatives.
  • Lead and support projects aimed at enhancing corporate culture and employee engagement.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize HR processes, workflows, and policies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of German labor law.
  • Proactive, open-minded, and employee-centric approach.
  • High level of commitment and a drive to make impactful changes.
  • Excellent communication and consulting skills.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
  • Experience with Workday is a plus.
