Tasks

  • Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) Specialist: Responsible for the pre-design, design, development, validation, and verification of complex human-machine interfaces. Ensures that interfaces meet required standards and facilitate seamless interaction between humans and machines.
  • Systems Engineer: Applies Systems Engineering principles to align human-machine interfaces with customer specifications. Ensures the smooth integration of interfaces into overarching systems.
  • Certification Support: Provides support for the certification process according to civil and military regulations. Ensures that developed human-machine interfaces receive all necessary approvals and certificates.
  • Application of Human Factors Engineering Tools and Procedures: Utilizes specific tools and procedures of Human Factors Engineering to ensure that user interfaces align with human needs and capabilities.
  • Contribution and Implementation of Human Factors Engineering in Avionic Systems: Plays a crucial role in integrating Human Factors Engineering into avionic systems, contributing to systems that are not only technically sound but also user-friendly and safe.

Profile

  • Aerospace Engineering or related University Degree, establishing a strong foundation in aerospace systems and engineering principles.
  • Proficient in object-oriented programming languages (e.g., C#, Python) and adept with systems engineering tools, specifically Matlab/Simulink.
  • Extensive experience in the aerospace and/or defense industry, showcasing a profound understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Military background and/or possession of a pilot license would be considered a valuable asset, providing additional insights and perspectives to enhance the role.
  • Fluent in English for professional communication and collaboration, coupled with a solid command of technical terminology. Proficiency in German would be a beneficial addition.
