Tasks
- Assembly work on fuel systems and flight control units
- Installation of metal and composite components using aircraft-specific processes such as drilling, riveting or gluing
- Carrying out leak tests, e.g. on fuel tanks
- Planning and execution of work steps according to technical specifications
- Documentation and handover of components or assemblies during work
- Collaboration with internal and external specialist departments
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic (specializing in production technology or maintenance technology) or comparable industrial training
- Many years of professional experience in manufacturing, aircraft construction or aerospace
- Experience in working with fiber composite materials and knowledge of classic helicopter structures and systems
- Very good knowledge of German (at least C1) and good knowledge of English (at least B2)
- Willingness to work shifts and travel for assembly assignments
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
